Post with the year you were born

Fresh Prince of Bel Lyrics
Now this is the story all about how,
My life got flipped, turned upside down,
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there,
I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air.

In West Philadelphia I was born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin all cool,
And all shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school.

When a couple of guys who were up to no good,
Started makin’ trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,
And said “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in bel Air.”

I whistled for a cab, and when it came near,
The license plate said “fresh” and it had dice in the mirror.
If anything I could say that this cat was rare,
But I thought “Nah forget it, Yo home to Bel Air.”

I pulled up to the house about seven or eight,
and I yelled to the cabby “Yo homes, smell ya later.”
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there,
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

Usedhottubsstore answers:

I don’t get the urge to say ‘not’ after every question, but I do sometimes get the urge to do so.

I played rock/paper/scissors and eeny-meeny-miney-mo, and my brother chanted inky binky bonky-much to my distaste-when he was little.

I watched “Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego?” and played the game. Do you remember the show’s successor “Where in Time is Carmen SanDiego?”?

I never played video games, but I remember that my cousin had a Sega.

I watched “AFV” when Bob Saget was the host, and now my parents and sister watch the new series.

“Reading Rainbow” was one of my favorite shows when I was little. Now I am an author, though probably not because of that show. I learned to read when I was two years old and have always loved books (though not very many of the classics).

Maria asks…

Alright, Yahoo Answers? Are you READY for this? :) ?

Alright…so I’m in choir and my high school and we’re going on a show choir trip to San  Diego in about a month. It’s gonna be April 14-17. We might be going in the hot tub at the hotel and we are also going to the beach. I want to wear a bikini and look good in it! Haha. My stomach is flat, but I want to be more tanned and toned. So, I was planning on starting to lay out in the sun for a little while each day, (with sunscreen on, of course) so that I can slowly get tan. I live in the desert so it shouldn’t be too hard! :) As far as exercises go, what do you recommend. I want my stomach and legs to be at least somewhat toned before the trip. I was thinking lunges, squats, sit ups, and superman bananas…have anything else?
I would really appreciate any extra advice. I’m a 16 year old girl and am almos 5″2 and weigh about 104…if that helps any. :) I need to start working out TODAY if I want to look good before the trip. :) (There’s 2 guys I’m trying to impress :) haha. Thanks guys!
–Cass
Also…any more tips for healthy tanning and eating healthy would be great too. Thanks!
I know I’m thin! I’m small for my age, I know…but like my stomach and legs aren’t very toned. I’m not going for ways to get thinner….ways to build muscle…because I have like, NONE! :)
I know I’m skinny, thanks though haha! Again, I’m not talking about thinness…i’m talking about muscle. I know I’m thin, but I seriously have no muscle.
And also, I don’t like my thighs. Thigh exercises would be good too. :D

Usedhottubsstore answers:

Well, it sounds as though you are already pretty damn skinny:/ If you would like to tone up, and you have the proper equipment, you could do some resistance training (aka weightlifting). I know, it may seem like a turnoff because you don’t want to be super buff and gross looking. But if you do LOW weights at HIGH repetitions, you will get a toned body and not a muscular one. To answer your other question, there is no real healthy way to tan. If you want the safest route to tanning, I would put on some tanning lotion, not sunscreen. Sunscreen will not let the UV rays get to the pigments in your skin and then they won’t change colors. Tanning lotion allows some protection from the sun while also giving it access to your skin pigments. If you do this on a daily basis, and you live in the desert, only do it for 15 minutes a day. You will not see instant results after the first day of tanning, but after the month or so, you should be pretty tan. If you are trying to lose weight (which it doesn’t sound like), just don’t do it. If you want other ways to get toned, you can also do yoga or pilates. Find something online like 8 minute abs or AbRipperX to tone up your abs. Look up Bob Harper yoga, it is pure HELL. Whichever path you choose to take, Good Luck

Helen asks…

My parents had marathon III sod put in, Was this the right choice?

First off I have to say that I have had to dig parts up and redo some sprinklers, and have to amend the soil after instillation… but i have fixed the installer’s mess-ups. They have small dogs, Acidic clay soil(slowly resolving) and a newly installed Hot tub (so medium to heavy use) … I personally would have seeded with a mix or maybe Zoysia.

As a side note their dogs, weiner dogs areallergicc to many types of grass. They had a general alergy check done after the sod was layed and i have not seen the listallergichey were alergic to 19 of 59 things checked)

I do not think it was, as I also have to think about the weather as well. We’ll know more in three months but, for the nonce, make sure you water as directed.

Where can I rent a room with a private jacuzzi or hot tub in San Diego?

Can someone please tell me where to find a nice, clean hotel or bed and breakfast place, or a day spa that offers a private jacuzzi or hot tub inside the room? I’m trying to book a nice romantic weekend for me and my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day, and I’m having a really hard time finding a rental that isn’t just some hourly hot tub room. I want to find a room we can stay in that has a private hot tub that will fit at least 2 people. Otherwise, the next choice is a day spa treatment for two that offers private hot tub rooms as well.

Please let me know if you know of a good place. And “The Tubs” in El Cajon is exactly what I am *NOT* looking for. I want something nice and classy and relaxing, not some seedy, pay-by-the-hour hot tub room.

Thank you,
M
