Your Questions About Coleman Hot Tubs

John asks…

How do I repair a leaking hot tub jet on a Coleman Spa?

Have determined which jet is leaking by allowing water to drain down without it running but do not know how to disassemble jet without breaking it. Need advice on best alternatives and approach. Anyone?

Usedhottubsstore answers:

Most spa jets come apart from the inside. The inside piece screws into the back side piece through the spa. More than likely it’s just the gasket that needs to be replaced, unless the jet or tub is cracked. You can either use an industrial strength silicone or most local hardware stores have a make a gasket material that works also. Then just screw back together and let cure, then fill er up

I have a Coleman Spa Hot Tub. The screen is blinking OH and nothing will work. How do i make it work?

Usedhottubsstore answers:

The other is correct that it doesn mean Overheating is occuring. Most likely it is a faulty temp sensor. We would first replace it and then if it still does not go away you have to replace your circuit board. Easy fix!

Lizzie asks…

Hot tub heater is broken. How much is it going to cost me?

It is a coleman 8-10 person spa. It got left on set at 104 on a very cold night with the cover off.

Replacement 5 watts Heaters are $19.95 plus shipping on eBay. They are pretty standard. If you have water shut off or slid valves to keep the water from coming out of tub…it’s very easy to change out heating element. Turn off power at breaker box….turn off or close slid valves….unscrew the ends of water hose off the control box…open front of control box…locate and unscrew the two nuts that hold wires to heating element…then loosen and remove screws that hold in the element. Slide the old out…the new in…tighten all the screws back down….re-connect water hoses…open valves….turn power back on and reset temp control.

Now after you have read all that…check the red button on control unit that trips when temp gets too high. It shuts down the heater. Push it back in and see if heater works.

Hot Tub Question: Where is the plug for the drain located, and what does it look like?

Recently got a used hot tub from a friend, was filling it today, and water is slowly seeping out. I was told it was due to the drainage plug being opened. Model is a Coleman spa, horizon series, seats about 10. (Girl doing this by herself so be kind).

Look for your axcess panel . It will be on one of the sides. Look unred and arounr all you will be looking for a vaulve . If its open you will see look for water areas . All so look for wet spots on foam you could have a cracked tub . But that is an easy fix

Coleman Spa 448 questions?

I have a Coleman spa 448 Galaxy. I tried to google it and it seems as if this spa doesn’t exist. So if anyone out there has any experience with this spa and answer would really appreciated. I need to know how many gallons of water this hot tub holds and how much it weighs.
