Roughly how much would it cost to build a 12×12 deck around a hot tub?
I am looking to T-off a landing on an existing staircase I have on the back of the house that goes from the deck (which is 10′ off the ground) to the ground. I want to T-off the landing towards the middle of the backyard, and then build a deck around a hot tub which will be there (hot tub is 7′ x 7′)
Deck should be flush with the top of the hot tub. I am using Pressure treated pine.
It’s probably about 100 sq. feet of decking, plus the railings, stairs, and supports that I will need.
I live in Massachusetts if local prices matter.

You will need about 30 2x6x12′s plus your supports whether it’s floating or poles in the ground, it’s up to you. Then any railing. Using pressure treated 2.6′s saves money over deckboards. You are probably looking at around 1000.00 for a job done correctly with a nice railing and maybe some benches.

How can I efficiently get rid of my outdoor hot tub?
I’ve decided to replace the above ground spa in my backyard with a garden. It’s 15 years old, and it works, but we don’t use it often enough to make the maintenance & cost worth it. How do I get rid of my hot tub in a cost-effective manner? Hire someone to take it away? Post it on Craigslist? If you’ve gotten rid of one before, how did you do it?

I operate a swimming pool and spa business. If you cannot give the spa away, hire a local handy man to cut up the spa and haul it away. My serious handy men can have the spa cut up and loaded in their truck in under three hours. Hope this helps.

Inground Pool and Hot Tub?
How much does it cost to put in an average size in-ground swimming pool and hot tub? We will need to have the yard dug up of course, and I dont want tiles, but the cement finish. Any estimates?

We just had our pool put in and for the basic style, no bells and whistles, it came to just over $15K. The pool itself was $12K and then if you wanted a cement patio (instead of gravel) it was another $3K or so. This didn’t include the $1K for the electrician to hook the whole thing up.
I wouldn’t recommend an in ground hot tub. Spend $6-$8K on an above ground and just set in on a cement slab.

I want a pool that’s in ground that has a Hot tub with a built in set in the hot tub bout 2 feet deep. Also I want a in ground pool thats about 5 – 5 1/2 feet deep not circle. Also how much would a under water video camera cost?

$20,000 to $40,000 more if you would like it fancier.
Call a few swimming pool companies. This time of year, they would jump at the chance to come out and give you an estimate.
They will tell you when they should get started on it.

pool/hot tub for theraputic reasons?
ik a man in georgia who got his insurance to cover alot of the cost to put in an in-ground pool…due to back problems. Also kno someone who had a hot tub installed and most that cost was covered also by his insurance but his reason was for his knees. I have dissinigrating discs in my back(sry for the bad spelling) and buldging discs in my lower back. I also have JRA (juvenille rheumatoid arthritis). I do exercises with little to no relief with either of these problems and the medications do not work. If anyone knows how to get insurance company to do this i would b extremely grateful! any websites would help also. Please and thank you so much!

Dang sounds like you body is going down the tubes like mine is LOL.
Get your doctor to issue you a prescription for a hottub. You then turn the script into your insurance company. They may balk at it but, if the doctor says you need it, they shouldn’t be able to contest it successfully.
Hmm when’s the hottub party? LOL
