The Sage answers: I've never been married legally, but I've been married in my heart. I bought myself freedom, loss, sorrow, joy and understanding it seems. I won't so much be more tolerant, as aware of what I need and what I am capable of giving.
Betty asks… Romantic Ideas? I want to have a romantic evening at home with my husband but I don't have a bunch of money to spend on stuff. Some ways to spice things up yet have a relaxing evening. Sometimes thing seem to get so repetitive. Every night go home make dinner sit in the hot tub watch tv pass out. Give me some spicy ideas please?
The Sage answers: Oh god, so many good ideas. Here's one. Leave a blindfold on the door knob with a note saying put it on before you enter. Then be waiting for him. Tell him you have something special waiting for him then remain silent and lead him to the hot tub. Get him ready and both of you get in. DO NOT LET HIM TAKE THE BLINDFOLD OFF YET! Guide him in and have a plate of his favorite fruit and toppings waiting. Start feeding him and tell him that you love him. I think you can use your imagination on what to do next. :)~ Have fun!

tv;all of a sudden the tv has no image;when I turn it on it comes for a second and than the screen is just
black;sound if fine and I can change channels with the remote but don't have picture;

Its minutes away from downtown gatlinburg and pigeon forge. I don't go to the mountains often and I need some ideas of things to do outside and in the cabin. the cabin has a hot tub, tv, dvd player, three separate rooms, and wrap around porch. I'm 21 so we can drink What should I take with me?
The Sage answers: If you like walking then I would imagine there are many great walks in the area. Take a camera as there should be some good views. There should also be plenty to do in town too. Don't know if there are any pubs or restaurants or anything. As for the cabin why not have a BBQ on the porch?

Chris asks… How to make a divorce easier for young children?Me and my husband have been married for a lil over 3 years and will be together for 5 yrs in october.. We love each other but can no longer live together… We are ready to go our different ways.. We have two young children together 3 and 1 and he also has a 8 yr old from another marriage who lives with us full time, i have been in his live since he was 3… I am currently a stay at home mom and have been for 4 years, i have no job no money and no place to go with my children.. What can i do? What can we do to make the split up easier on all 3 kids? We want to go about with with out lawyers if we can manage.. We have been talking about splitting up our belongings but cant agree on whos is whos.. Before we got married i have nothing of my own i was fresh out of high school and he was 24 and had his own stuff and place.. And when it comes to the stuff we got together when married, he wants all the good stuff. ex. big screen tv, wii, hot tub and nice grill… I dont really care that much about the stuff but why should i be left with nothing? ex husband and I are very good friends now. We had an amicable divorce, however there were times along the
way when we didn’t get along at all. It’s best to get along for the kid’s sake, but that doesn’t make it
any easier. You will both have to compromise on a lot of things, and at times eat crow, but you can do it
if you really want to. As far as the stuff goes he should be fair and if the kids are going with you he
should go ahead and give you the stuff they will use like the wii. You also should probably go ahead and
start looking for a job. If you have family you could stay with for a little while till you get on your
feet it would be great.

It’s something only you can know. What caused a power surge to multiple homes on my block?Hey, Looking for some insight here from anyone who knows more than I do about municipal power lines. A couple of weeks ago my fiancee backed a U-Haul truck into our driveway, pulling down the power lines that ran to our house and creating a nice shower of sparks. A Portland General Electric technician came and reattached the lines, which hadn’t been detached completely but were hanging low near the ground. He also did something with the transformer across the street. Seemed to be a routine repair. Later, I realized that several appliances in my house weren’t working. The problem wasn’t with the circuits, but with the appliances themselves. Then I learned that several of my neighbors also have dead appliances: TVs, hot tubs, stereos, lamps, etc. So apparently there was a power surge that affected several homes. Several of us have filed claims with the insurance company that PGE works with. The mystery at this point is what caused the power surge, and that’s my question. Is it possible that my fiancee pulling down our power lines could create a surge that would affect other homes on the block? Or would the surge have been created by a mistake on the part of the PGE technician who came to repair and reattach the power lines? PGE will be doing an investigation to see what happened, but I’m very curious about who’s at fault here. I’d feel pretty crappy if I was responsible for all these dead appliances on my block.

Can you recommend an outdoor hot tub/spa for under 2k that is decent?I noticed sam’s club has a couple, one for around $1600, member’s mark brand. Anyone have positive/negative experiences with any brand/model for 2K or under? I want one just to relax, I don’t need 200 jets and a pop up TV…just something small and simple and cheap.
Usedhottubsstore answers:Hey there, Great idea on getting a hot tub. I use ours almost everyday. For under 2K you will probably be limited to a portable hot tub which many people like. These tubs are easy to put up and use right away. If you get a permanent hot tub then you will have to pay for the installation of electrical hook up which can run anywhere from $1000 – $2000. There is a good article for you to look at below and a good website that you will find useful to help you decide. Just remember one thing. If you go too cheap, then you often get a pretty cheap tub in many ways including quality. I wanted to get one in the price range you were looking but in the end we bought a used tub which had been returned to the manufacturer and repaired. We got it for about half the retail price just because it was used for a few months. They fixed it and resold it to us and we are extremely happy with it. We spent around $4000 plus installation. Well worth the extra cost. Hope this helps. Cheers.
