Do you think it is better to be rich and spoiled or poor and grateful?

Everything in my life is so wonderful. I feel so blessed most of the time. But I still find myself wishing I was rich so I could buy a big house with a hot tub, and season tickets to see baseball. I’d rather not be jealous of people who have money. But sometimes it just makes me feel so bad.

sex + period?

Well, my parents AND boyfriends parents are going away for an entire weekend leaving both my house (big shower) and his house (hot tub) empty. Wouldn’t you know thats the weekend that I’m getting my period? My parents *never* leave over night, ever! Not in my whole 18 years of existance! Well, I finish this week of pills, then have four pills next week and im supposed to start on next wednesday or so… Is there any way I could somehow mess with my pills so that my period came later? lol… I’ve never messed around with them before but I keep hearing how you can do it… and this seems like a worthy time to give it a try…

any help explaining it dumbly as possible would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: I’m not betraying my parents trust. They know me and my boyfriend have sex. We’ve been dating for three years. We just rarely get the house alone to ourselves so often.
EDITx2 Pregnancy won’t be an issue so please spare the comments if you read this. If I do mess with my pill I’ll definitley be using condoms. Thanks if anyone can give me more information about what I asked  I may just go ahead and have sex even if I’m on my period if he is okay with it.

What should I wear to new year’s dinner party?

I just started dating this guy and he invited me to his friends new year’s eve dinner party. He said they will be having prime rib, and it’s this great big house with an indoor pool and hot tub. I am 29, he’s 36. What should I wear for dinner, I’m thinking dressy top, jeans and heels. And should I bring my bikini just incase? How about a bottle of champagne for the host?

Are these good reasons to like a girl?

I am a 19 year old boy and I met the perfect girl but when my jealous Ex girlfriend said I don’t like her for who she is I got offended. She also called me a shallow jerk and hung up. Now I want to know am I really shallow?
these are reasons I like this girl so far ( we’ve been dating for a week )
She is hot : wears makeup, big boobs, big but, naturally pretty face, long hair, blonde with blue/green eyes.
She wears sexy clothes: tube tops, tanks, camis, crop tops, booty shorts, mini skirts, see trough tops, short dresses, heels.
She likes kissing : we make out for hours and hours while chewing gum.
She is good in bed : u know what i meen… nuf said
She IS RICH : hot tub, cars, big house, big TV ( flat screen ), big pool, she gives me money and gifts. (Yesterday she gave me an iPhone for our one week anniversary and 2 days ago she gave me $500 because she said she loves me.)

Am I being shallow or are these good reasons to like a girl??? And do you think i really like her cuz I REALLY, REALLY do????

Are my parents jerks? (Immigration whine)?

I’m 23 and my sister is 21. We were both born in the UK, but had to move to Italy when I was three and then to the USA when I was 7. My dad had a work visa and my mum wasn’t allowed to work due to visa reasons. My parents had a total of 6 children and my dad couldn’t afford to support us (little food and few clothes).

This meant that from the age of 14 myself and my siblings ended up doing no end of under the table jobs and twice dogged immigration raids. I had to pay for college myself (this meant more work illgealiy in the USA, although I could legally attend college, I was not allowed to do any ofrm of work).

When I turned 21 my parent’s still hadn’t sorted out their immirgation paper work. I got told at that I would have to return to the UK, I did, then I came back to the USA and got caught working illegally. Both my sister and I are banned from entry to the USA.

Now my parents have just got their green cards and can live happily ever after. My sister and I have 10+ years ahead of us before we can even hope to go home to the USA and see our siblings, friend ect.

So my question is this are my parents jerks and do i have the right to be angry with them? Its tearing our family apart. I can not understand why we didn’t all just come back to live in England when I reached college age, instead of making us work illegally. I also cant understand how my parents can send me photos of their new hot tub and big house, when they dragged us up in poverty.
