Best Hot Tubs

A tricky one this. To find the best hot tubs could mean price or it could mean design or even value for money. What's good for some people may not be good for others so we've guessed based on feedback from other websites. 

What is the best brand of hot tub?

I'm looking for a 4-6 person spa.

I totally agree. Hot Springs seems to have given me the least trouble and most readilly available parts. And I've repaired hundreds of various brands of spas over the years.

Where is my bromine going in my hot tub?

We just got a new Jacuzzi brand hot tub. We've been following the instructions for chemicals as best we can. Every time we finish using it (daily lately) we test and the bromine is zero or close to it. We add more. We test 20 mins later and it's fine. Sometimes even a bit high. However, the next day, its back to zero. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Is it safe for us to use when it's at zero?

The (Br) goes into the air, you may want to get one of the floating bromine dispensers if the tub does not have one in the skimmer.
If the tub is left at "zero" for too long it will become a human bacteria frat.
You could end up with Folliculitis. They are bacterial sores, like zits on the portion of your body that the dirty water sits on the longest. (Your A__ and legs.)

Are Hot Spring brand hot tubs best? 

We found a great deal on a Hot Spring brand hot tub since the dealer is moving and wants to get rid of their stock. Of course the dealer says it is a great brand. But is it?

Hot Springs is either considered to be #1 or #2. Depends on who you ask. You will not go wrong. I cannot fanthom they would be going out of business since that is a sought after brand that any hot tub dealer would want to sell. I would love to know where the dealership is since that is a great opportunity! BTW...buy it! If anything goes wrong with it Hotsprings stands behind it 1000%.

Well, I did hot tub shopping and wound up buying a california hottub....
The reason is based upon the quality put into the construction. The seals are better, the pipping is thicker, etc. When I compared everything, I decided this was the best quality I could find. And of course they have an excellent warranty. Anytime you compare hot tubs, look under the tub to see what the real quality is about. As I mentioned, How thick is the PVC pipping? How are the pipes sealed, especially going into and out of the motor. What horse-power is the motor? Remeber, it's the performance of the "engine" that determines the quality and length of time before trouble starts. I've had my hot tub 11 years, and thus far, not one issue (knocking on wood).........

What is the best hot tub to buy for an outside patio? 

We want to put an all season hot tub outside-any ideas and experiences with this? Also what are prices? We want to be able to go out in it in the winter/snow too-

There are good and bad to all, you can spend upwards of $10,000 or so, depending on what options/size you want, or as little as about $3000 getting into the smaller lower quality tubs. The brand we have chosen and are getting ready to buy after doing quite a bit of shopping around and research is Marquis.

Just shop around, but the best advice I can give is try it before you buy it. Most good dealers have demo tubs set up that you can try in a back room or after hours, and it makes a huge difference sitting in one with water in it trying it for fit and for how the jets feel.
